Miikshi's resourceful, DIY approach to engineering has earned her the reputation of being the top scientist in Mibukiville. Her unconventional problem-solving methods have seen her come to the city's rescue on numerous occasions, though she's notorious for staying out of the public eye. Miikshi holds an MsD in Agrispace Engineering from Mibukiville University, and is currently a research associate with Mibukiville Labs, working closely with renowned particle physicist Dr. Dogwyn Tanaka. Her experimental jet, the Hay Ewe, is the first of its kind to operate using sustainably-sourced B-9000 cashew oil.

A science reporter with the Mibukiville Public Broadcasting Corporation (MPBC), Chickelyna is first on the scene for any breaking news relating to science. Able to distill complex topics into easily understandable terms, her intrepid reporting has led to systematic changes to the cosmic silo industry, and is a source of information and inspiration to the citizens of Mibukiville. A graduate of Arata City Metropolitan University, she began her career in college radio and was later hired by MPBC as the permanent host of "As it Flappens", the station's flagship afternoon drive show.

Gord's intricate knowledge of vehicle mechanics has made him an invaluable asset to Mibukiville's engineering community. Proficient with tools, his quick-thinking and hardworking nature is constantly on display, whether he's piloting a submarine for construction of the Mibukiville Aqua Tunnel, or operating the maize propellant at the city's annual Corn Fest. Gord is an alumni of the Academy of Moochanical Sciences (Hiroyuki District) and is an active community volunteer.

Occupation: Founder, owner, CEO, CFO, Crumpet Laboratories

Dr. Hillary Thruppington Crumpet, MsD, rose to notoriety as the builder of the city's first-ever spacebound cosmic silo, and planned to make history by being the first hamster to go into space. However, the launch was scrubbed due to numerous mechanical errors, and would not enter the news again until one year later, when a careless mistake sent the cosmic silo into space prematurely with Miikshi on board. His alma mater, Mibukiville University, has repeatedly declined his requests for Crumpet Laboratories to be affiliated with their institution.

The Honourable Percy Diem was elected Mayor of Mibukiville after a successful campaign bolstered by his previous career as an action film star. Committed to making Mibukiville a thriving metropolitan city, he has called for increased funding to the Hay Ride Transit (HRT) network, and supported the construction of the Mibukiville Aqua Tunnel, an underwater thoroughfare that will connect Mibukiville to Arata City. A true believer in community — and photo opportunities — he attends every city-wide event.
